hey
i wanted info on chandbagh school.how is its education standard?for A levels and is the enviroment there good?thanks would appreciate if any of yo could help me out.

Iam a student of Chand Bagh School. I have just finished my O Levels from there with 6A's and 3B's. Iam doing my A Levels also from there.
Chand Bagh's A Level is not as good as its O Level. And of course you can't compare it with the schools at Lahore but it is improving.
Chand Bagh is a fully residetial boarding school with more than 400 students with five houses. It stretches over an area of 184 acres with swimming pool, squash courts, cricket, football, hockey, basketball, volleyball fields etc.
Teachers at Chand Bagh are you may say 50-50. If you got a good teahder then its luck and if a bad teacher then its luck.:)

Our A level best results came also in Arts subjects but constant alteration of teachers really distrubed them. Their buisness teacher used to come from Lahore each day to teach them. Many teachers came and went, some because of uncapability and some for not able to adjust in the environment.
Our main problem is this that teachers have to put a lot of effort if they are teaching in Chand Bagh. Except school, they have to attend toyes, head social and cultural activities and their headache, remedial classes.
So they really get fed up.
Very good teachers prefer Lahore than Chand Bagh because of various reasons you yourself can count.
Although we have got some wonderful teachers in every department but still boys aren't getting same output as they should be.
May be they would have got some good teachers in these vaccation but its still in doubt.

hey thanks for helping me out.would you prefer to do your A levels in chandbagh or in lahore?i mean is the study everything?i heard they take you to sos village and teach chand tara school every saturday.i bet thats helps a lot in building your personality and stuff......
As I told you Iam doing my A Levels from Chand Bagh because I had been there for the last 3 years and some how I have come to love that place.
Ya we do have a lot of that SOS and Community welfare stuff. Boys go to the near by villages to teach and every year students of Chand Bagh collect donations up to 1 Lakh!
Ofcourse it helps a lot in building one's personality and gaining confidence. In Ramadan we have to offer all five prayers in congregration and it is compulsory! Every boys has to take up a cultural and Social activities like ind social activities, Gardening, Vegetable gardening, bird nesting, plumbing, welding, etc. And cultural activities like german or Arabic language, science, wood work, caligraphy, etc
Sports are also compulsory so you can imagine how busy they keep us but its all fun.:)

i'd like further information on chand bagh boarding school and other similar schools for boys. i am only looking to provide best and affordable education for my sons.
