Chand Chehra

Her husband died; how would she prove her innocence now!

Re: Chand Chehra

Is it started arleady? when what time? I thought it was supose to be airing on 28th November.

What a powerful drama.
So fast paced.. without useless parts.

Funny to see one girl with the young son, and the other daughter with the father of the son. :hehe:

Yeah, they fail to believe her, that he was allowed to go home for a little while with no one home besides the wife.

DNA....no?

I think the drama was slow. Wafa Ke Mousam picked up much better. But let's see what happens. Babar sure looks different, because i'm used to seeing him in Shalwar Kameez in LB.
BTW, is it just me or have guys also noticed the sweet production values in PTV dramas these days.

Is it because of the money PTV making from the USA?? 'cuz serously every prime time play of PTV now is digital with great sound recording/dubbing and effects.

ur sigs’ are nice; keep em comin!

Question: yeah! that’s the only hope ki kiran, wonder when that would shine!

dr. evil, they're mostly private productions....that's why the production quality is so high. PTV productions aren't like that, although most of the dramas you see on PTV are private productions anyway.

I didn't get to really pay attention to it - I think I'll watch it again tonite...I had my 5 yr old prescription glasses on, can't see anything beyond 6 feet with those things.

no mame, they're not private productions. Private productions go on private channels, indus, ary, etc. Any thing that you watch on Prime is PTV production, meaning ptv has the rights for them. Ofcourse, somebody individually has to produce them, but ptv has their own standerds (and starting '03 they're not excepting non-digital plays either) these ppl then sell them to ptv. If you don't believe me check the ptv, channel 3 program guides on dawn, jang, pakwatan etc and you'll see that ptv is airing the same dramas, the one we watch on ptv prime. Private channels have their own dramas and prime aired non of them because prime is a branch of ptv.

dr. evil, you asked about production quality, and I am talking about production companies. Whether the drama goes on PTV or prime or Indus or Ary or Geo makes no difference to the production quality. That's just the channel that decides to show that particular drama.

The production company produces the drama and has control over quality (like camera work, etc). PTV has some in-house productions, but the criticism on PTV these days is that its airing more Private productions (ie. productions done by private production houses).

Hence, we're actually saying the same thing, except your definition of "private productions" is a bit off.

may bata rahi hoon, tanveer jamal, sab kay khwaabon may aa kay un ko batayey ga:hehe:

whatever you say

okay i watched the drama again, with my contacts on.

Hmm...yeah production quality is pretty good. Title song is GREAT and the girl's voice is wonderful.

Plot-wise, eh, I never could stomach Tanveer Jamal as an actor...maybe its his unruly hair. I'm glad they killed his character off.

A lot of the same people from Chaudveen Raat, which makes it kind of annoying. Sohail Asghar has a great character - something different from his usual wadera roles. The ex-prostitute pregnant with jailed and dead husband's baby has too much make-up on her face, and I dont like her acting...too artificial. Otherwise, the rest is okay. Standard plot, nothing special yet...

Somehow the pregnancy deal doesn't put me on the edge of my chair....

eh, hopefully it'll get better.
