Aa tehri barsaat to palkain bheeg gaien
Roiye jab bhi raat to palkain bheeg gaien

Ankhon ko jab gehri kali barkha ki
Soonp gaya sokhat to palkain bheeg gaien

Apnay bhi jab chore kay wapas paltay thay
Thaama uss nay hath to palkain bheeg gaien

Yoon to har nuksaan pay havi zabt raha
Bikhar gaie jab zaat to palkain bheeg gaien

Pehlay to ankhoon main hayrat tehri thi
Samajh main aiye baat to palkain bheeg gaien

Baat bicharnay par hee khatam nahi hoti
Chala jo koie saath to palkain bheeg gaien

Har ilzaam ko sehnay ka kuch to ehad tha
Aur chiri jaab baat to palkain bheeg gaien
