Chand Mubarak to all. Finally, Mufti Muneed announced Eid for Pakistan.

There is this new phenomeno nof firing on announcement of Chand. The markets were full of people for many days. Allah, Pakistan ki ronaqen qaim rakhe.

How do you people spent chand raat. Is it rat-jaga for all night preparing for Eid. In Karachi, there are tents (shamiyana) for mehndi and choRiyan almost every where. Nai (saloon shops) business is at its peak.

After mufti muneeb announced my mother rushed to the store with my sis to do the last minute shopping.On their way back a guard started aerial firing and my sis had to offer prayers on reaching home safely.I don't know why do they do that at the end of ramzan.

No it is not rat-jaga for me and whenever we get a chance we go to buy chorian especially on chand raat.

We go to Asian areas those places that are famous for Pakistani shopping. We get Mehndi done from there. Do rest of the shopping like last minute one and come back. Most of the time, we buy chorian, jewellery in advance. Ladies go crazy about getting mehndi done and buy jewellery etc. It is no more Rat Jaga at my end. Sometime my cousins comes then we apply mehndi at home, have pizza party n that is it.

yes this awkward practice started in recent years. News channels are reporting that due to Aeriel firing in Karachi, around 10 people are injured. :( Can't understand this way of celebrating.

yehii to choNchla-baazii hai...islam meN toHfa denaa achchhaa kahaa gayaa hai magar spoil karne ko aur fuzool Kharchi karne aur Ghair islami mawaaqo'M aur maHloN ke liye nahiiN! :) Theek? :)
