Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament:4th-12th December, Lahore

At half time Pakistan and spain are locked at 0-0.

Pakistan once again lackign finishing touches in front of goal :smack:

so its settled then...pakistan playin india in bronze medal game...yet again we fail to reach champions trophy final...and its our national sport...wot a disgrace..:(

Pakistan is losing 2-0 and the time is almost up. There is no way we can score 3 goals in the last few minutes.
Udhar cricket main haar rahay hain, aur yahaan spain nay dosri dafa hara diya. Fittay moonh sub ka.

sorry state of affairs in pak sports...

Spain scored their third goal and I hereby testify that Spain isthe pain in pakistan’s neck when it comes to big matches

Pakistan paid for poor form of Rehan Butt and Kashif Jawad, their two most prominent forwards. :frowning:

:crying:

now that pakistan is -not surprisingly- out of the running, let’s all pray now that Holland wins it Sunday :jhanda:

That was once again a bad performance by Pakistan. Yaar, they got a lot of chances, but don`t know what were those forwards doing...poor finishers. And even Sohal Abbas was unable to do anything special.

Anyways, lets see what happens in tommorw`s match.

Now, the team has to play well to beat Indians, or else, they should get some tammaters and allooss from the crowd.

Lets hope Pakistan wins against india.

Pak - Ind = 3-2.
We end up in 3rd place, Ind 4th.

Yet another tournament lost by Pakistan!

Third consecutive bronze medal in champions trophy. It shows we have the talent to belong in top teams consistently but lack the final blow!

Spain beat Holland 4-2 to win champions trophy for the first time. Awesome :k:

Spain. :k:

Nescio just for you. :hula:

wat was the score of pak vs india match?

Pakistan 3 India 2

Nes-- :hula: :bhangra:

:grumpy:

Spain has improved alot in the last few years. I remember they used to end up last in almost every tournament and now they beat Holland and became champions. As far as Pakistan is concerned, even though we beat India, but still its not a satisfying performance. Even Sohail Abbas is going to retire after this tournament, so we dont have that edge that we used to have.

oooo maza aa gaya,…we beat india twice…but indians will never learn a lesson…

If there's a team in the world of Hockey to actually break the winning tournament records of Germany and Netherlands, it's Spain.

Pakistan's loss doesn't surprise me. Once again, it all comes to mental strength and now with the departure of two greats(Wasim and Sohail), things won't look good for a while. Not even a third place we'll see around. Good that I didn't spend 50 bucks on this!
