it just wasn’t Pakistan’s day in the Semi’s
We are a much much better team

The way this match is progressing, Australia will wrap it up couple of hours before the scheduled time
and most of the spectators will be shouting “Oye mairay paisay wapis karoo”

NZ have never been a very exciting team to watch barring a few individuals such as Hadlee, Martin Crowe and Bond.

And they did not particularly look strong on paper in this CT esp. with injuries to key players, so it is a real surprise that they have beaten good teams like Sri Lanka (who were so impressive against South Africa in the opener) and Pakistan.

It is not easy to beat Australia in a final at the best of times let alone when you are missing several key players too - Oram, Ryder and Vettori

We may be a much better team “now”, we were better team before the semi-final but we were definitely not the better team on semi-final day otherwise we would’ve won the game. When our captain drops a simplest of catches we deserved to lose the game, simple.
