it is weird to see that Real Madrid have won both its group games in the CL without Zidane and in the League only have one point out of three matches with Zidane...

** Don't talk unless u can improve the silence **

Yeah i think they played a hell of good football and I'm still waiting for Zidane's first appearance at the Champions League.

...and a last but importand new: the biggest team Galatasaray 1- Nantes 0;we are addicted to beat all teams and anymore I can not be happy much when I hear the victories of Galatasaray because it always beats it's rivals, but I think the cup of UEFA is not enough for us this year the cup of champion league is waiting for us,OK cup wait we are coming and the show of Galatasaray will continue forever,,,and another news, our historical rival Fenerbahçe (the other name of it:KESTANE)was beaten 1-0 to Lyon he he he heThey had not been able to score even a goal in champion league and I want to say to fenerbahce supporters from here...ªampiyonlar ligi senin neyine, hadi ordan kestane he he he.....

To be honest my friend they didn't deserve it at all. Nantes was the far better team and had more chances, than Galatasaray Ist. Anyways luck was on their side, but I'm very sure the next teams will be hard for them to beat. And yes, ever since Haji left the squad Galatasaray is no more Gala.

Ok friend firstly I appreciate you since you are really aware all developments in details of matchs and your viws are really effective but on the other hand your second sentence(the next teams will be hard for them to beat) is used always before Galatasaray's matches but from my childhood I always witnessed Galatasaray's victories. Galatasaray has a special mentality,it improves new tactics in all match by analising rivals before playing with it. Especially at away matches it preferes to play a defence footbal and doing sudden attacks; I mean ýn that match the wise team was Galatasaray, it knowed how to use it's energy economically and knowed how to score in away match(do not forget noone can beat nantes in his own pitch),ýn this respect having more change must not be criteria to determine a team's success. The importand thing is to get points from match and football is played only to obtain them so that as french newspapers admitted that the better team was Galatasaray. Also luck likes the better one,we were better so that luck surely was with us.
as you said hagi went and also 9 importand footballers went recently , but ýn spite of all these bad conditions we knowed how to win because we are legend:)Please keep up watching Galatasaray because the legend is continueing...best luck friend

I won't debate on this. I have a quite bad feeling, that Gala.s winning streak is ending...The first time a huge dissapointed when I saw them playing against Nantes. I didn't see the whole match though, but can surely say that this time there is no genius in their squad. The whole play was very "dull" and boring to watch. Very unsual for the "real Galas".
Still I wish them (and you) all the best for the future and hope that they may succeed.

did you see the match bewteen Man U and Deportivo!!!!! what a great match, that is what champions league football should be about! just fantastic! It's only a shame that ManU lost because of 2 stupid mistakes by Brown and Barthez, it should have been a draw.

Yep I saw it. I think Barthez can be forgiven. But Brown is for sure the weak point in ManU. I think this guy is out of place.

here is my bet for the teams progressing to the quarter final:

groupA: Bayern Munchen and Man U
group B: it is very difficult to make a prediction for this group, but I think that Gala won't have what it takes to progress, so it leaves Barca, Liverpool and Roma: I think I'll go for: ** Barca and Roma ** (although Liverpool beat both Barca and Roma last year in theUefa cup)

groupC: ** Real and Porto **

groupD: ** Juve and Arsenal ** Deportivo is a very competitive team as well but Del Piero (J) and Henry (A) are two of my favourite players, so I would like to see them in the next phase!!!

*Group A *

FC Bayern 1 - 1 Man United
Boavista 1 - 0 Nantes
