This could be a tremendous final. I think Henry/Cesc/Toure probably cancel out Ronaldinho/Eto. But Barca have so many options. What Arsenal will need is a great game from Lehmann, some good defense and the ability to counter attack Barca. Barcas defense isn't weak, but it isn't Juventus either. Tha'ts the weak link. I think Barca could be susceptible to that, which is Arsenal's specialty. But its going to be very difficult to go 11 games without conceding, particularly against the attack Barca have. Barca probably wins, but this one is going to extra time. Players to watch are Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue, in my opinion the best young right back in the world and Deco.

really poor match from both sides 
on top of that the Ref killed any tension there was in the match. Poor, poor match.
Ronaldinho was struggling for form, and Henry was as slow as a turtle. Either he was injured, or he was with his mind already with Barcelona, or he was bribed. And with the recent tension in Italian SerieA and Germany, the latter won’t be a very odd suggestion.
And the refs, they were horrible. Shame on FIFA that they cannot manage referees like Collina, Frisk etc. etc. Not only the main ref, but the linesmen were wrong as well:
- red card for Lehmann, it ought to have been a goal without red card
- tackle by Bronckhorst on Eboue in the first half: wrong judgement by linesman
- yellow card for Henry: wrong decision
- first tackle on Henry by Marquez, right after the red card for Lehmann: should at least have been yellow
- horrible tackle by Eboue on Bronckhorst in the first half: should have been red instead of yellow
- foul on Ronaldinho right at the edge of the box in the second half: was no foul at all
etc.

and Henry, he was really aweful to watch. The worst match I've ever seen Henry play. He missed two great 100% chances. He was never hunting for the ball. I think he spent 75% of the game walking around in the middle circle. He never showed his acceleration, even in 1-against-1 or 1-against-2 situations. He never really tried.
Am disappointed in Henry....he got too influenced by his transfer to Barca

I agree that match was really not that spectacular but i am glad that Barca won. Ronaldinho was somewhat of fform, missing chances and missing his regular sublime skills. In the end all was turned by Larrson by setting up two goals. Match really died flairwise since that foul by Jens Lehmann off etoo and since then Arsenal was mostly defending. The only chance they got was through a set piece and they scored off it. Credit to them that they held Barca till really late.
Nes, it was a straight red but Ref blew whistle too cold. How was it not red? Lehmann clipped Etoo’s legs with his hands missing the ball completely, no? It was a professional foul but being a keeper, it was a red. I agree with that Marquez bit though. It seemed straight red.
Henry was okay at the end before barca scored but other than that he was disappointing. Welcome to barca maybe 
All in all, Barca was the most deserving team to win and they did the right then :k:
I watched the match on a tv outside a local cafe type thing and it was a unique experience

Barcelona WON champions league......the score was 2-1...... it was sad to watch Henry,,,,cuz he was so dissapointed.....but Barca definitely deserved the cup.....!:D I am sooooooooooooooooo HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.....

A poor final and a terrible atmosphere. Just look at the electric atmosphere and amazing banners Liverpool fans brought to Istanbul last year, the place was buzzing non-stop yet Arsenal and Barca fans failed miserably in this respect.
Samuel Et’o is just phenomenal, those touches are sheer magic. Check out what he said after the game…

Now that is sheer class. Barcelona are worthy champions. They played the best football in europe throughout the season and no other team was more deserving to win it than them. We’re happy to hand over our crown to them.

...being a neutral, i really wanted Arsenal to win. But the frickin ref spoiled the match with the sending off of Jens Lehmann, as a contest Arsenal were always on the back foot from then on.
Oh well congrats to Barcelona and commiserations to Arsenal, roll on next year.

Dinho played like crap, but he did set up some brilliant chances. Though he on most nights would have cashed in at least two of those free kicks.
Larsson was the man of the match though. He's going to be really missed. Though Messi was really missed too. The Barca attack loses a lot of bite with Messi not there.
The Lehman card was justified. He didn't even make a play on the ball, he was trying to foul to stop the goal. THey should have counted the goal, AND shown him the red. To only show him the red was comp-letely biased towards Arsenal.
Toure and Eboue were insanely good though. Is Toure the best defender in the world right now? Goddamn that kid is good.
Beautiful Barca. It was a good day.
