Champions League - 2004/5 (merged)

Re: Champions League - 2004/5

extra time about to start.

As a phoenix Liverpool have risen!

two important points:

  1. Lapse of concentration by Milan: 3 goals in the first 10 mins after the break. That is purely due to lapse of concentration. Also if you look at the goals only the last one was from a proper chance. the first two were out of the blue.

  2. The tactical change by Benitez to change from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 and after the break to 3-5-2: this way the back line gets stable and it is dificult to get a pass behind the last man, something milan had been doing in the first half.

Re: Champions League - 2004/5

second half of extra time about to start.

Milan seem to have retaken the edge, but no really clear-cut chances from both sides

Re: Champions League - 2004/5

Milan have regained their composure but so far no chances. I think the second extra time will be the key when both teams will make a final push for the goal.

Re: Champions League - 2004/5

one good thing for Milan: if it gets to penalties there isnt Seedorf to miss one :D
