What an exhilarating display by Srilanka, they have gathered the much needed momentum from this lifeless match with a terrific team effort. Chaminda Vaas was all-accuracy, he has bowled 10 overs today, picked up a wicket and above all never conceded a single run! The Indians were made to struggle to Murali’s guiles, the off-spinner at his best is always a treat to watch
Can somebody who saw the match tell me if it was his bowling that was so good or were the indians just not interesting in making runs? Either way all out for 167 is pretty damn good... or is this because of the pitch condition?
Can someone please inform me if Vaas is the first (Sri Lankan) bowler in Test Cricket to bowl ten (10) straight maidens? Is anyone above/below/(close to) this record?
