Chalo Chalo Pakistan Chalo

fg look up dollar saver travel in kansas city, they can do wonders. there is a travel agency in buffalo NY run by a desi lady who will hook u up too..will find the number for u

I have used these guys to fly last minute to pakistan a few times, and in busy season.

if you can get a flight to Uk, in london there isa trvale agency called king travel... they will hook up up from London to Pak as well.

fly emirates. go to dubai first.

Thats why I had to book my seat to Isloo in September! Cant wait for the 13th! Its PIA (Chicago to Islamabad) so Im glad I wont be stopping over in any gulf states!

:bummer:

LK, Im talking about those transit stops. They dont let you go out in them. I remember I had to spend 8 hours in Riyadh airport once!!! Even the duty free there was complete mariyal !!!

i'll agree with PAbroad, u should check w/ other travel agents and keep ur ports of dep n travel routes flexible

there's no way seats r not avlbl, that too for just one person!

i've also flown during dec and other hi traffic seasons and i always booked my seat very last minute [never more than 10 days earlier and once only two days before my flight] and getting seats was always possible if i kept the ports of dep n travel routes flexible

btw if u do the london thing some ppl r suggesting dont forget to get the visas. in fact check for any route u r flying if visas r needed. i think hk or china also need visas now.

For those of you suggesting I fly to some city in Europe and then carry on to Pakistan, I bet you have never used this option yourself. It doesn't make any sense at all. If I can book those two legs, wouldn't my travel agent be able to book both legs and save me at least $1000.

Mr. FGuy,
I believe you were mentioning this trip around the time when my plans were getting finalized and I went and booked my tickets. This was somewhere in September (I would've booked my tickets earlier if hadn't been for my vacation dates not getting confirmed). Whe the F didn't you book urs then. And now here you are bitching about flights being full. Shame on you, and your loser travel agent.

I got the return ticket for $1200 PIA (Chicago to Isloo), is that a good price?

Also, what is this exit interview that is to be done before leaving the US, if youre a student there on F1? someone told me its no more? Can someone shed some light into this?

Mr Tofi (Gaaye wali):

I made my reservations around the same time I mentioned it on GS. My only mistake is that I did not call my travel agent after that. I thought that he has all the info he needs from me. Once he finds my dates he would call me to ask for my credit card. He never did. I called him last week and he seemed oblivious to everything. He thinks I didn’t give him the due importance he deserves suring this time of the year. This being the busy season.

Spock, if you mention your Chi-Isloo trip one more time, I am gonna kick your ass really hard. I want the same route :crying:

:rotfl:
I got american/emirates for $1500/pop. I’m sworn off of PIA!

don't know about this but i'd say make sure you register and do exit interviews just in case anyways.

Go to turkey, buy a cheap ass suzuki (If stolen 7 series are sold for $10k, a suzuki shouldnt cost more than $500) and pull an all nighter.

If you need one ticket, search around and put yourself on a waiting list - you'll be garunteed a seat, but not on a specific date , they might give you 24 hour notice if lucky.
