Prophet said ***Khairul quroon qarni, summal lazina yaluna hum, summal lazina yaluna hum ***

Best of the best age is of him and his sahaba. when we doubt any of those sahabas, we doubt the claim of Rasool-e-Allah

Prophet was referring to only the sahaba with strong eeman. Prophet did not go against the Quran’s teaching and when Quran says the following then how can you even imagine that prophet meant every sahaba.

[63:1] "When the hypocrites come to you they say, “We bear witness that you are the messenger of GOD.”* GOD knows that you are His messenger, and GOD bears witness that the hypocrites are liars. "
