باخبر ترین ذرائع کے مطابق چیرمین نیب جسٹس (ریٹائرڈ) جاوید اقبال کے خلاف مبینہ اسکینڈل کی خاتون کردار طیبہ فاروق اپنے بیان پر قائم ہیں۔ طیبہ فاروق کا کہنا ہے کہ جسٹس (ریٹائرڈ) جاوید اقبال سے پہلی ملاقات لاپتہ افراد کمیشن میں اپنے شوہر کے ساتھ ہوئی۔ طیبہ فاروق کے مطابق ان کے شوہر بزنس مین ہیں اور وہ خود قانون کی طالبہ ہیں۔ ان کے شوہر کی چچی گم شدہ افراد میں شامل ہیں۔ طیبہ فاروق کا موقف ہے کہ وہ اپنے شوہر کے ہمراہ ان کی چچی کی بازیابی کے لئے مسنگ پرسن کمیشن کے سربراہ جسٹس جاوید اقبال سے ملنے گئی تھیں۔
طیبہ فاروق نے الزام لگایا ہے کہ ملاقات کے دوران جسٹس (ر) جاوید اقبال نے ان کے شوہر کی موجودگی میں مجھ سے میرا فون نمبر لیا۔ اس کے بعد چیرمین نیب مجھے ہراساں کرتے رہے۔ چیرمین نیب مجھے اپنے گھر اور اسلام آباد کلب میں ملنے کا کہتے رہے۔ میں نے چیرمین نیب کے غیر اخلاقی مطالبات نہیں مانے تو ہم پر مقدمات قائم کیے گئے۔ میں نے یا میرے شوہر نے کبھی کرپشن کی اور نہ دھوکہ دیا۔ مجھے شوہر سمیت من مانے طور پر گرفتار کیا گیا۔
پندرہ جنوری 2019 کی صبح میرے شوہر کو نیب نے اسلام آباد سے اٹھا لیا۔ اسی رات نیب نے رات ساڑھے 12 بجے مجھے بھی اٹھا لیا گیا۔ ہمیں موٹر وے کے ذریعے نیب لاہور لے جایا گیا۔ نیب لاہور میں میرے کپڑے اتار کر تلاشی لی گئی۔ اگلے دن سہ پہر چار بجے ہمیں عدالت میں پیش کیا گیا۔ مجھے نیب عدالت نے جیل بھجوا دیا۔ 2 مئی کو ضمانت پر میری رہائی ہوئی۔
طیبہ فاروق کا کہنا ہے کہ میرا شوہر جیل میں ہے۔ ہمارے خلاف 56 جھوٹی درخواستیں فائل کروائی گئی ہیں۔ میرے بینک اکاونٹ میں صرف پانچ لاکھ روپے تھے۔ میرے شوہر کے اکاونٹ میں ایک کروڑ 30 لاکھ روپے کی رقم ایک سال تک موجود رہی ہے۔
طیبہ فاروق کا کہنا ہے کہ میرا شوہر بزنس مین ہے۔ میں نے اپنے شوہر کی رہائی کے لیے تنگ آ کر زبان کھولی ہے۔ تاہم آج میرے خلاف اسلام آباد میں مقدمات درج کرا دیے گئے ہیں۔

Both parties are wrong in my opinion. The audio clearly shows that the girl was equally participating in the verbal foreplay. Had she or her husband been clean, they could have used the legal route to fight off the corruption charges levelled against them. Instead, they opted for the personal services of chairman NAB to get the cases discarded and our jawan chairman NAB was already looking for the opportunity. That’s called taking advantage of the situation..

NAB chairman is indeed a sexual harasser. He was also accused of this by PTM in his role as chairman missing person commission.
This scandal was caused by the PTI govt. It wants to pressurize the chairman to leave and be replaced by Deputy Chairman who is a PTI appointee. They want NAB to be more aggressive to the opposition and ignore the PTI folks. Owner of NewsOne, the station that broke the news, is owned by PM’s media adviser.
This scandal was precipitated without clearance from the miltablishment who have confidence in the chairman. The result was a hasty retreat. PM’s media adviser was sacrificed.
