I have a dilemma. I basically hate tea and refuse to make it for anyone (esp. if I’m not going to drink it myself).
What do I serve if a potential rishta was to come to my house?

Get someone else to make tea.

Please remember to also serve a disclosure to the fact that you hate tea. That could be a huge turnoff for some potential rishtas and would save you all from future complications.

I would have had this dilemma if I'd gone down the arranged route.. I don't make tea for anyone.. Parents taught me once but I've totally forgotten anyway..

I think you should learn.

I have many friends that don't drink or even like chai themselves but make really good cup of chai for someone else.

Chai drinkers like myself find that endearing and give her credit for that.
