chaddi banyan lifecycle

I opened a thread about socks in life1 and was chased out by those who want to keep the place for saas bahu issues, I hope I will not be chased out of here..

okay..so what is the right frequency to toss out chaddis and banyans?
is it usage based, material based?

i mean i suppose ladies special ones probably have a lionger lifecycle
but I am talking regular dude’s banyans and chaddis

do material, style and color have an impact..

what are the signs that an item needs to be retired..

please share your views

could be wife beaters, vnecks, crenecks, ribbed, mercerized,
boxers, briefs, whatever

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

you people are like so not helpful..

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

Consult the remaining sock. It might give you an idea. Perhaps it’s mate left because it got tired of waiting for you toss em out. :chai:

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

On a more serious note......I think material would be a determining factor. Is it starting fray...become worn out....or maybe the elastic isn't resilient? Toss it out then.

With many clothes....not just undergarments........visible sweat stains (that aren't coming out)....toss em.

agree with RV

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

but they become more comfy when worn out :bummer:

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

Ideal time to toss them would be when the need arises for a new rag to wipe the floor with???

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

When they have holes in them and you will be embarrassed to take off your shirt or trouser in public when the need arises.
Hey don’t get offended, when I am working outdoors , I start with full sleeve shirt with banyan under it , and when the sun rises and I start sweating I take my shirt off. I never take my pant off in public view , but what if a bug/bee/yellowjacket climbs up your pant what will you do ? :bummer:

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

I think you will know when the time is right X2...you will know.

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

Peer sb, what you have against dhooti??

Give it a try.

I have never seen anyone wipe floors with a thong boxers or tighty whities..

pray tell why you will take your pants off in public? Chichora insaan looking for reasons to streak and blaming it on insects.

I will? How? The chaddi fairy will slip some money under my pillow?

man visible dhoti lines would be a big issue :frowning:

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

:D

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

You never throw it out . If you can't wear it then just keep it to clean your car , shoes etc etc .

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

I can just picture you spit shining your boots with a fruit of the loom chaddi on your hand..

Stylin' amigo..

color too. If its white then you can be sure that you gonna toss it out sooner than a black undie of same material.

No one chased you out from anywhere :naak:

Best to toss out underwear when they don’t look like underwear anymore.

But white ones you can bleach...

If you feel the need to create a thread on a lonely sock, chaddis, banyans…then that may be a sign they’ve gots to go.

^:hmmm:

With that said…if you feel the need to create a thread about a toxic MIL/SIL, etc…maybe it’s time to kick em out too.

Re: chaddi banyan lifecycle

rv- these are philosophical questions meant to guide generation after generation of people searching for answers online..please dont be so myopic :)

how can I kick out my MIL and SIL, they dont live with me, so I will first have to invite them, and then kick them..that is too much effort, plus they are nice ppl.
