This is an old drama apparently, but it is currently being shown on one of the Indian channels (Zee TV I think). Anyway, it is so good. I really like the story line. I’m a fan of Mahnoor Baloch … and the guy who plays Amna Haq’s husband is quite a dashing young fella.
Humayun Saeed that would be Mehnaz. Yes he is quite a guy! I watched a bit of it when I went to Pakistan for a visit but never rented it to see what happens...though I might now.
Have you seen Faakhir's video which has scenes from a play that seems to have been shot in some oriental country. He looks good in that too. I hope they show the play on Prime TV too :)

Its a good drama. I'd give it 7 out of 10. I reckon if they didn't have this star caste though, I mean ALL the roles are played by big stars, dang it must be one high budget venture! ] it wouldn't have been so popular, the story drags a bit in some episodes but the ending is pretty good.

Faakhir is a tiny little paki pop-star who has come up with some very nice, beaty songs and does a fairly okay job with videos too. Have you heard that song with a spanish beat, also shot in spain…and I forgot the words

You know I've probably seen it, but I don't know it by name. On a side note, I think Haroon is quite cute ... but Humayun Saeed is simply yummy.
There's also this other Pakistani singer who sings love songs .... but in one of his videos, he had N'Sync type dancers in the background and it totally did not go with the song since it was slow and melodious. I think it was set on a train platform.
Yes Haroon is cute too. Not just a cute face but a lovely person too. Very friendly, no airs about him, not at all status-conscious. He even offered us girls(me. my sisters and a friend) to do a video with him which we couldnt :( He really is a very sweet guy.

So just out of curiosity, what do you all find so "yummy" about Humayun Saeed?. The guy has a feminine voice, is short and lacks a body. He doesn't even stand straight.

Oh phulleez! Humayun Saeed is not short! He is tall and broad. He may not have a six-pack but he surely doesn't slouch. The sparkle in his eyes, his smile, his hair everything is so yummy. And his voice is not girlish okay!
And FYI I would like to know your opinion on cuteness. Just for an alternate perspective.

There's a certain decency about him which is lacking in most guys. :p FF summed it up quite well.
Faakhir is not cute ... in fact, gosh, I can't stand his songs or his videos ... especially that platform one. How annoying! What was up with those dancers trying to be the Backstreet Boys?
I also think Saleem Sheikh is good looking for an old man ... dunno why ... he has something about him.
