What a lame Eid Mela at Payal Banquet Hall. Ok, might not be lame for my wife who went on shopping spree but there was nothing much for males in there - Males ki Eid per new cloths nahi banatey?

Went to the Red Rose mela last night for a couple of hours. Wasn't bad.....except for the woman on the mic. Couldn't she just be quiet? Her shrill voice on the already too loud sound system was killing us and the men were just cringing and wanting to leave. Bought a couple of suits....were some bargains there......but because of that woman hubby didn't want to stick around at all.

Haha I know, it was so loud I barely felt like stickin in there for a longer time. I appreciate the lady's effort though, it aint that easy to entertain people for that long. Collection wise, I found it to be very affordable and thank goodness I ended up finding an outfit for my height :)

I have a serious issue with the availability of men's clothing at Eid Melas too.
I know that in the past the men were not really inclined to wear desi attire but things have changed.......guys dress up cuz the girls like it.......plus there is so much more pride in our heritage and fewer men are shy about showing it off.

The smarter proprietors will take note.
