Chaand k saath mery baat na the pehle see
Raat aate the magar raat na the pehle see

Hum tery yaad say kal shab bhi milay thay laikin
Yeh mulaqat mulaqat na the pehle see

Aankh kiun loot gai khoof say sehraoon ko
Kiun is baar to barsaat na the pehle see

Ab k kuch or tarah ki the udaasi un main
Chaand taroon ki yeh barat na the pehle see

Ishq nay pal main badal dee mery sary duniya
Main nay daikha k mery zaat na the pehle see.
