Ch Nisar says ‘parliament is rubberstamp’ Updated at: 2011 PST, Wednesday, August 05, 2009
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader and PAC Chairman Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Wednesday urged Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to take up much-awaited vital decisions.
Addressing the National Assembly today, Chaudhry Nisar termed the Parliament as rubberstamp parliament, saying the parliament should not be allowed to be employed as rubberstamp entity.
He remarked if the Prime Minister did not take up the crucial decisions, then these steps will be taken up someone else.
The opposition leader said former President Pervez Musharraf should be tried for treason under Article-6 of the constitution.
This man is a opposition leader in N.A. and chairman of public accounts committe.
Remember When Nawaz & Sh,baz were in prison and Zardari and Gailani were also behind the bar.Jawed Hashmi was in prison Where was he ?
Not sure whats the point of your question??!!! Wutever he is, he is much better than those who hopped to Musharraf-made PML-Q , atleast he remained a part of struggle against tyranny.

PML Q and PML N are sisters. but there are some people in evey party in Pakistan who are called ' man of Establishment' like Amin Faheem in PPP.
Not really! A vey handful of politicians were brought in PML-N from other parties while PML-Q comprised mainly of those politicians who were brought from PML-N, due to Masharraf's hatred of it. PML-N was originally a normal PML where Nawaz/Shabaz sharif started their political careers in. It can never be equivalent to Q.
Anywaz, I hate to go back n forth, my point is this, it doesnt make sense what you had question originally. There are more important things to be questioned here. Ofcourse if you are only questioning Ch. Nisar cuz he doesnt belong to your favourite camp, the whole argument becomes baseless and the debate is over now.
