Only two batsmen have scored centuries in Twenty20 cricket. Gayle scored the first one in very first match of 2007 world cup. No one else have scored a century in a world cup since then. McCullum is the other batsman to score a century in T20I.

Would anyone be able to score a century in this world cup? If so, who do you think it would be?**
I don’t see anyone scoring more than 92 runs in this world cup.
Re: Century in T20 World Cup
^ Why 92? Why not 91 or 93?
I think we should be able to see 1 or 2 more this year. Chances of that are from SA or SL side, lets see
Re: Century in T20 World Cup
i hope one of ours scores a century … my fingers are crossed for our captain sahab to make his mark
Keep an eye on Bosman and De Villiers in SouthAfrica vs Afghanistan game and Eoin Morgan in England vs Ireland game.
I just chose 92. Nothing special about it.
Re: Century in T20 World Cup
Salman Butt.
Re: Century in T20 World Cup
Dilshan Tillakaratne from SL
Afghani bowlers have done well on ODIs and I won’t be surprised if they snatch a win or two in T20s.
Do you mean he will play 100 balls or let other team score 100 with his fielding?
^God forbid, if he is in playing eleven, the chances are that both can happen
its Tillakaratne Dilshan
David Warner

meant 100 misfields. The guy is legend when it comes to misfielding or dropping catches.
Seriously, we are talking about century by scoring 100 runs in one match and not anything else ( e.g. century of slip catches, century of runs by playing 20+ T20 games etc etc) so salman butt’s name is not apt in this list…
Re: Century in T20 World Cup
Hafeez is in a good form . . . Well may be he can score a century . . Insha Allah
Re: Century in T20 World Cup
I think Chris Gayle could repeat his feat of the 2007 WC.

There is 1st century from Raina
