The pasta salad was great and so was the mixed bean one.
I want the recipe for the mixed bean......please.
I was thinking that it would be hard to arrange another one of these picnics.....but we just have to do it again. Only this time, somewhere where we don't have to lug the stuff across on the ferry........
repeat performance at bluffer's park? or better yet......Jack Darling park?
Re: Centre Island - What a meet!
Lay on the BBQ in MId-July to Mid - August , and I'll be there. I can't do anything in early July (friends visiting) and late august (parents visiting).

Re: Centre Island - What a meet!
centennial park is good.....but is there any water activity there?
Jack Darling (I think that's the right name) has a water activity centre, plus it's got a beach.....a miniscule one.....but beach nonetheless........
still considering other areas....
Re: Centre Island - What a meet!
What about High Park? Mind you, I haven't been there in years.
Re: Centre Island - What a meet!
centennial park has a wading pool for kids.....thats pretty much it lol...our family usually goes there since there is a lot of open spaces for games and such (considering our HUGE family)...
where is Jark Darling? What about Chinguisy park? or Professer's lake?
Re: Centre Island - What a meet!

Are BBQs allowed at the Kelso Conservation area?
Re: Centre Island - What a meet!
What about Heat Lake? North west Brampton.....I know for sure that there is swimming in the lake there....cpmplete with life guards and all.
bbqs are allowed at kelso.
high park is too hilly.....and waaaaaaaaaaay too crowded on weekends.
Jack Darling is on the shore of lake ontario in southern mississauga.....but now that I think about it....it's pretty crowded too.
