Please share must-see stuff, things to do, places to visit, etc…
Not including Disney World, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and what not.

I used to live in Gainesville, Fl which is about 120 miles from Orlando so know the area somewhat. If not theme parks, than you have some really nice beaches in Tampa/Sarasota areas. Golf courses are decent, Cape Canaveral is right there and quite an interesting place. I always enjoyed busch gardens in Tampa. Honestly, with Orlando its been just Disney/Universal for me or toll roads. When visiting Central FL, I use homeaway.com to rent furnished homes / condos in kissimmee area. Always work nice with kids. Food options are countless on I drive.
