Cellulose Gum

Does anybody has an idea as to what cellulose gum is. Does it have something to do with gelatin…?

as far as i know cellulose gum has nothing to do with gelatin. Its actually a food thickener which is derived from some special wood, and is used to keep food firm and in shape.

The difference between Animal cell & PLANT cell is that plant cell is lined by CELLULOSE & Animal cells are NOT

Cellulose is purely vegetaerian (plant) Product :ahaa:

well yeah, i just know that celluslose is derived from plants. From what I recall its a carbohydrate found in the stem used in making paper...
