Does anyone here has Motorola V710 cellphone? How do you make the phone book enteries for one person not repeated in the list? For example, let’s say you’ve stored two phone numbers for your friend Mr xyz for home and work. The way I see now I’ve two enteries in phone book for Mr xyz and I scroll down to whichever one I want to dial. But this is different than usual phones where there is one entry per person, not per phone number and you go into that person’s entry and then choose the number you want to call.
I don't have 710, but for a brief period I had V551. Cingular folks transferred all the numbers from my old LG phone to V551 and I got dizzy from all the contacts repeated multiple times. This is a serious problem with Motorola software. I am glad I only used the 551 for a few days, but it was enough for me. It's a great phone from a reception stand point, but the phone book software needs a major refresher.
I assume you got stuck with 710 because thats about the only bluetooth enabled phone Verizon offers.
