Cell Phone Service Providers in Pakistan

Which company has the best service? Not only in one city, but if you travel a lot, which service covers most areas and doesn’t give any roaming problems?

I've heard that the Karachi has the best connection... i dont know abt the provider!!

Well Karachi is a big city, if they have good connections, that means no matter where I buy the phone from, it'll work in Karachi. I guess they should all work fine in all the big cities, and in the entire country cuz it's a small country. But I don't now.

Insta covers most areas ...

lekin service k hisaab se koi bhi itna acha nahin ... caz EID k din pata chalta hia koon kitna acha hia .. n kooi bhi achi sevice nahin deta..

Paktel GSM mein new hai .. isliyeah us ka nahin pata ...

aur Mobilink is upgrading the system to .. us pe to bhut congestion hota hai ..

bhai china ka set nahin le ker aana .. nahin chale ga ...

wese .. ager aap ko use kerna hi hai .. to go for Ufone...

Mobilink Rulz :dhimpak:

Mobilink and U phone are known for good signals… If u want a veryyyyyyyy cheap connection go for paktel. Ermm Insta phone sucks bigtime. Mobilink has no roaming charges now so no problem and like i said the signals are great everywhere.

If you want to use it for a long time then i suggest you go for Mobilink…ab tao rates bhi kam hogaye hain :hula:

hmm.. mein bhi moblink user hoon per…

Ufone ka koi mukabala nahin … aur Ufone kbhi roaming charges nahin hein …

aur cheap connectioon ki to aap baat hi na karien …
Qaidabad (karachi) aa jaien … sab kuch saste mein mile ga …

Baat cheap connection ki nahi hai, I want something that works, even if I have to pay more for one time service. I suppose once you get the connection, then you can buy the calling card and use it with the phone? As long it doesn’t refuse to work when you need it, I am ok with it :k: So you all are saying Moblielink?

well ager aap ko sirf main cities mein use kerna hia ..
like kHI ,LHR,ISB ,MULTan...

matlab choote choote kasboon mein nahin jana

then go for Mobilink ...

aur ager choote choote kasbe gaaon, wagher mein bhi jana hai

then go for Ufone ..

All Sucks… :mad2:

:rotfl:

All major service providers in Pakistan use GSM 900 frequency unlike 850, 1800 in America. So if you are going to take to your GSM phone make sure it has 900 frequency. I heard that uphone has better coverage in Karachi.

Yes yes yes! It will be used by my relatives back in Pakistan who live in small cities such as Khanewal and Pak Pattan Shareef etc. and they often visit gaaon.

So now U Phone? :bummer:

yup sohail bhai go for Ufone … not U Phone ] …
