Cell phone charging

I don't know what's going on, but for the past 2 days, I have noticed that when I charge my iphone through my laptop/station dock, it drains rather than actually charges it, even with all my apps off. when I charge in the wall, it's fine.

this has never happened to me before. anyone experience anything similar, or know why this is happening?

**May be your phone wants you to get a new one… :hmmm:

So Give me your Iphone… :e6:
Me theek krwa loon ga :nerd:**

nooo I am not buying a new phone.. I have had my phone for several years now, paid off, its the 6 series, and it works perfectly fine, well except this charging stupid problem now ? I don't like buying something just cuz its new and shiny lol

**Soon they will stop updates for 6 series in coming months…
And you will have no choice other than to buy a new one…

Still my offer is there, you can give it to me :nerd:**

okay, I will give it to you.. if you give me another in return

Ok Last year I found that my phone wasnt charging much like you can say it was charging very slow and then got out of charge very soon. Found out that the battery was dying.

In your case its a little different but remember the influx of charging coming from wall adapter is far more than the laptop/dock.

So first you need to check the battery's health. Goto settings --> battery --> Battery Health and see what it shows.

If the deal is still going on, Apple changes the battery for $29.99 which isnt a bad deal at all. I would suggest that.

@SID_NY the battery health says its at peak performance capability. maximum capacity is 89%

could it be my charger? it's an off brand .. but I have always used off brand ones and this has never happened

buying a new battery for $30 is wayyy better than a new phone for $1k +

First world problems :hehe:

No serouisly two accessories of cell phone are so annoying. Charger and earphone. Both are important and both gets broken so easily. And the unbranded chargers really suck
