Meera looks early 30s and she is 36 as she was born in 1974......so when cheif saab came out she was 22 which seems ok.
btw cheif saab wasnot her first movie...her debut movie was kaanta that came out in 1995...i guess no one noticed that film but chief saab was a hit.

lol that's nothing, when the site was launched 6 months ago (i only know since it was all over facebook), it actually said she was 9 when she acted in chief saab! looks like someone pointed out how ridiculous that looked and they changed it to 12.

Models lie about their ages the world over. Add 2/3 years to what they would say.
Pakistani cinema actresses are a special case as they have to understate their ages by a ridiculous amount just to stay in the business, and may be outdo their rival. So if Reema is 25, Meera has to be 20, and her rival even younger...it's almost like a domino effect....

One reason Pakistani women do it is becuz we judge thm so harshly simply becuz of thr age. When someone sayshe / she is 30-35 we go OH MYYY GOddddddddddd, but he/she does NOT look "that old"often making me wonder how is a person supposed to look @ 30-35 or whatevr age one claims. One xample is Shaista Wahidi when recently sum1 said she is 39 ( I highly doubt it personally) everybody went shell shocked as to how can sum1 look so good @ that old age??

If that's really her age then kudos to her, she's maintained herself unlike typical desi women who just let go once they get married.

its only pakisssss, never heard an indian actress lie about her age, preity zinta openly said she was celebrating her 31st, so did ashwarya, rani and co.....madhuri also never lied. katrina on good morning or nadia khan show said she was 24....or 25..cant rem...and she looks it.and most likely is a genuine answer...

Ahhh i don't think so. Preity is an honest person but i dont think i believe katrina lolz. She must be 27/28 and same goes for priyanka. Sonakshi says she is 23, like ooookkkkkkkkkkkk. Its not lollywood or bollywood syndrome, its women syndrome of lying abt their ages :).
