I don't mind Pakistani stars wearing Western attire for red carpet events....but these dresses at LSA look like cheap copies! The Amina Haq dress is made by her husband but looks as if it's stolen from Albera Ferreti., ofcourse minus the finesse of Ferreti's Italian craftmanship The dresses look cheap. If you are such a big fan of western wear, atleast wear the beautiful, drop dead gorgeous stuff instead of these ugly ones...and please- original stuff....

I agree. Thats what I used to say. That its not that our stars wear western attire but what irritates me is that they can't manage to carry dresses and the dresses our designers make look like they've been cut and stitched by fixing shalwar kameez kay drafts. They can't make dresses at all and our starts can't carry them at all. Some even look as thought they get stuff form Sunday Bazaar and just keep that on of their fabrics and cut out the patterns to make their own designs. Western dresses would look really good if they'd make them properly and our women would carry them properly...Some women look like they're walking around with saggy boobs and some look as though they've pinned their dresses to fit etc. Some just look demented and disproportionate which makes it worse. Baki its a glamorous business so they kinda have to wear such things...each to its own.

Back in 90's she was also casted for a Pakistani movie namely 'Billi', but after a catwalk with the director 'probably Sangeeta' she was replaced.
