for those who dont know he is some panhandler who has been asking for 50 cents on devon for over a decade, inflation has not hiked his asking rate, the economic downturn has not decreased his asking rate.

he is going to ask u for 50 cents regardless of how rich u are, or how poor, young or old..

he does not discriminate in any way..

the one the only the original fiddy..

although i understand he has let celebrity go to his head and after a decade now he is asking for a dollar.

Lol. I can barely hold my laptop but just had to post something. X2 you should have asked who HASN’t run into him?

This guy is a Devon classic. At winter time when he is not around much people miss him.

He scares the living hell out of all the girls on Devon though. Once me & my Asian friend were entering the old Tahoora & he asked us for money. We didn’t give him any & just went on ordered our food & then actually ended up sitting by the glass window. He wouldn’t leave & kept standing there till we got done & then handed him like a quarter. I have run into him so many times but never gave him any money.

There is an actual group on facebook dedicated to this guy.

Oh & you know what the rumor is that he is an undercover cop. Don’t know how much of that is true. But supposedly couple of store owners on Devon claim about him being a police wala.

every real chicago desi has seen fitty one time or another, and that is some feat.

dude u know him from 25 cent days, that was circa 99, he switched to 50 in 2000 and from what I hear in 2010 it has gone up to dollar..
