I****t was unbelievable how happy the whole nation was…we have been under so much gloom for so long and last night no one seemed to care about anything and still danced through the street free of all fears…It was perhaps the most overwhelming sights I have ever seen…!

Mehdi (Fashion Designer):

I hope this victory brings a revolution to our country. I hope we remain united and keep fighting the negative elements like the Taliban. This is a great start to a beautiful tomorrow… We rock…Love Pakistan!!!

This victory was much needed not only to revive the game of cricket but also to put forth a softer image of Pakistan on the world map. Kudos and Congrats to the team!

Rabia Butt (Fashion Model):

**T****hink we desperately needed this win…the situation has been so depressing and we only got bad news every day…this is a huge breakthrough. I am happy that the Pakistani team proved themselves. **

Wardah Khan (Fashion Model – Miss Pakistan finalist):

It is an honour for the nation. The hard effort put in by our team was clearly visible. We wanted to go to the stadium but the tickets were for 1000 GBP plus they ran out so we grilled chicken in a friend’s garden and watched the match while we ate and danced! London’s streets are jammed and green flags and sounds of Dil Dil Pakistan are everywhere. Everyone is sending Mithai to friends and family!
