For the people looking forward to it, what are your plans for Valentine’s Day with your significant other! This day is important to me because of some other reason too..
What do you do?? Dinner? Movie??
Before any of you attack me saying its not in Islam.. please know that I KNOW THAT… I am married and have every right in Islam, culture or whatever to celebrate whatever day I want with my husband.<<

Hehe. All i wanna say is that i find it stupid when people question why have specific days for celebrating luv. Cuz like why not? its nt like u always celebrating luv, wish it was true bt that doesnt happen n as human beings we tend 2 take things for granetd so such days r nice remainders that wakie, wakie time for luv :D

Well this year is slightly different, Me and him wont be together on that day but were gonna meet up b4 then and have a meal etc.
Last year was awesome, we went for to the cinema, had a meal, he took me shopping, he bought me soo much stuff, AND he had a gift for me. It was soo sweet! :)

I'm taking her to Mauritius (an island in the Indian Ocean near Madagascar) for Valentine's day inshallah. Booked 5 nights at a resort.

Well I've got 8 kids to feed so my husband and I will be staying at home and doing the daily chores maybe if we're lucky we might not have to clean up after (12 y/o) chotu! Valentine shmalentine :)

I will be offended if my husband did anything special for V-day. I would rather go out for dinner and movie on the 13th and 15th but not the 14th just because I dun like this hallmark holiday.
and yes we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occassions but IMO valentines day is just over rated. :-)

We're keeping it casual and doing lunch and the cinema. Not doing any big over the top presents, but I have pre-ordered Bioshock 2 for him so that should earn me some brownie points!
what is bioshock?
Video game as far as I know unless they have their own intimate "code" :)

i am getting nikkafied after 2 weeks of Valentine, as both of us are out of country.. me in NY and she is in Firenze,.. ....
