Celebrating The Praises Of Allah

Allah the Allmighty has said :

" Therefore remember Me, I will remember You. Be Grateful to Me & never
show
Me Ingratitude "

[2: 152]

And He said “Oh you who belive, remember Allah time & again”

[33:41]

And He said : "And the men & women who remember Allah frequently, Allah
has
prepared for the forgiveness & a great Reward "

[33:35]

And he said : "And remember your Lord by your tongue & within
yourself,
humbly & in awe, without loudness, by words in the morning & in the
evening,
& be not among those who are neglectful "

[7:205]

The Prophet Muhammed SAWS PBUH said "He who remembers his Lord & he who
does
not remember his Lord are like the living & the dead "

[Albukhari , from Al-Asqalani,Fath Al Bari 11/208, Muslim with the
wording :
“The house in which Allah is remembered & the house in which Allah is
not
remembered are like the living & the dead” ]

And the Prophet Muhammed SAWS PBUH said “Shall I not tell you about the
best
of your works, the purest of your possession, your most elevated
station, the
thing that is better for you than spending you gold & silver [in the
way of
Allah ], and better for you than meeting your enemies & slaying them &
being
slain ?”

"Oh yes " they said. He said "REMEMBRANCE of Almighty Allah "

[At Tirmihi 5/459,Ibn Majah 2/1245. See Al Albani, Sahih Ibn Majah
2/316 &
Sahih Al Tirmidhi 3/139]

And the Prophet Muhammed SAWS PBUH said :

"Almighty Allah says, 'I am with my slave when he think of me & I am
with
him when he mentions me. For if he mentions me to himself, I have
mentioned
him to myself, and if he mentions me in a gathering, I have mentioned
him in
a superior gathering.

If he approaches me by a hand’s width, I approach him by an arms
length; and
if he approaches me by an arms’s length, I approach him by a mile’s
length.
And if he comes to me walking, I hasten to him swiftly’ "

[Al bukhari 8/171, Muslim 4/2061; this wording is from Al Bukhari]

Abdullah bin Busr said that a man asked the Prophet Muhammed SAWS PBUH
“Oh
Prophet, there are so many ways that we are permitted to worship Allah.
Please give me a simple thing that I can do ?”

The Prophet SAWS PBUH said "Let your tongue always be moist with the
remembrance of Allah "

[At-Tirmidhi 5/458, Ibn Majah 2/1246. See Al A-Albani , Sahih At
Tirmidih
3/139 & Sahih Ibn Majah 2/317]

And the Prophet Muhammed SAWS PBUH said " Whoever reads one letter from
the
book of Allah, will receive one Hasana, and one Hasana comes with ten
like
it. I do not say that Alif, Lam, Mim is a letter. Indeed Alif is a
letter, &
Lam is a letter, & Mim is a letter "

[At Tirmidhi 5/175. See Al-Albani, Sahih At Tirmidhi 9/3 and Sahih As
Saghir
5/340]

Uqbah bin `Amr Radih said "Whoever sits down and does not mention the
Name
of Allah [before he rises] will find it a cause of sorrow. Whoever lies
down
to sleep & does not mention the Name of Allah before rising will find
it a
cause of sorrow "

[Abu Dawud, 4/2464. See Al Albani , Sahih Al Jami As-Saghir 5/342]

And the Prophet SAWS PBUH said "Whoever sits in an assembly of people
who do
not mention the Name of Allah in their gathering, & who do not ask
Allah in
their gathering, & who do not ask Allah for his blessings on their
Prophet,
will find it a cause of sorrow. If He wishes He will punish them, & if
He
wishes He will forgive them "

[At- Tirmidhi, See Al-Albani, Sahih At Tirmidhi 3/140]

And the Prophet Muhammed SAWS PBUH said " No people may rise from an
assmebly in which they have failed to mention in the Name of Allah
without
it being as if they were getting off a dead donkey’s rotting back, & it
would be a cause of affliction for them "

[Abu Dawud, 4/264. See Al-Albani, Sahih Al Jami 5/176]
