How are you? I have just came up with a question in my mind that is it allow to participate in pajama (in which people wear pajamas) and spirit day (in which people wear opposite shirt)?
Technically, we have to live according to the rules of the country. If we are living abroad in which people prefer wearing pants and t-shirts, we have to wear pants and t-shirts and we are not suppose to wear our own shalwar kameese while we are living with different culture. Also, in jobs, whatever they prefer we must wear that, along with sports in which we should shorts/pajamas and t-shirts only.
I just had doubts about it celebrating spirit days in which people wear opposite shirts which is worst. What about celebrating Holloween? It is for kids though.

Take Care,
Allah Hafiz!
Who said you can't wear your own traditioanl clothes when you're in a different country, it depends on each individual. For the job, obviously you've no choice. Whenever these kinds of westren traditions are celebrated, we need to ask ourselves whether these celebration are prescribed in Islam. We've discusses this issue in details in "celebrating birthdays" thread. I know same people will come here again and argue. So, i don't want to get involve in that and will end my comment on this. **Prophet(SAW) cursed those men who imitate women and cursed those women who imitate men (this is one of the reasons why wearing pants is haram for women in Islam). Also, Prophet (SAW) said whoever imitates kafirs is one of them. **Now, it's up to each individual to do what they think is best for them. Whether do what Prophet(SAW) said or follow the shatan.
