Re: Celebrating Easter
Some people believe attending Easter/Christmas celebrations is haram, others believe it is perfectly fine.
Just last Christmas we had a thread on Christmas trees and most people also said there was nothing wrong in bringing home and decorating a Christmas tree.
So what's the verdict on celebrating Easter by, let's say, doing the Easter egg hunt at home?
i dont mind celebrating easter/christmas as in wishing someone, going to the easter/christmas related parties. wont mind putting related decorations in my house either. however i wont do it because i would like to save my money rather than throwing parties or buying decorations since in the end its not my festival and i would like to spent that time celebrating my own culture more.
