Truth is Prophet didn’t say anything about birthdays specifically…but he did regarding the beard… still so many muslims (including some posters here perhaps) don’t grow one.
I know why some people don’t like birthdays (ahmadis, radical deobandis and wahabis) because they are against everything that brelvis do…that is the real reason for the leaders of these sects giving out fatwas against birthdays.
