CDMA in Pak

I have just visited this site, even not a mobile company but offers great communication services. 144 kbs internet and also telephony services. its amzing for remote areas and free from busy dial up internets in Pak.

good move when pakistan doesnt have much landline penetration in the country. this will really pick up.

It does say whether its 2 or 3g CDMA, right?

this one is actually not 2G or 3G you may call it 2.5 G cause its based on CDMA. not WCDMA. they are not true mobile operators but only limited mobility wireless loop and long distance carriers.

norwiegian company telenor will be offering 3g as they are developing new mobile network in Pakistan which is 3G supported by Nokia.

yeah, well, what I didnt understand was that in the advertisement it says, "Available in Karachi only." And on PTCL website, it does not include Lahore in the list of the cities names where it'd be available. But I saw big banners all over the roads in Lahore advertising for CDMA. So I dont know if it has been introduced in lahore or not yet.

A great move!!!

well yeah mein ne sunna hia .. not confirmed …

that th GO people .. they have divided KHI into 5 zones …

n if u make a call from GUlshan zone to Defense aozne on GO CDMA - GO CDMA … it costs about 12 rs per minute …

may be it is fake … but people say k yeah loog karachi ki awam ko chey bana rahe hien …
