CD 13 Ultrasound on Clomid - Update!

So i had my CD13 ultrasound today. There was one big follicle measuring 12.3 (i wish there were two big ones ) and the lining was 7.2. Rest of the follicles were <10mm.This shows that my ovaries have responded to the treatment. I will go again on saturday CD16 for the ultrasound. If the follicle will not get bigger or will shrink, then she will put me on provera and then increased dose of clomid. Otherwise, OPKs and timely intercourse etc. I hope it grows. What do you guys think?will it grow and if yes, then how much bigger can it get? I hope the uterine lining gets more thicker too. But iam happy Alhamdulilah that at least some progress is there.

Yay! Did they do bloodwork as well? the E2 levels will also help indicate if the follicle will grow.

believe me it can grow. your cycles are long anyway, right? so you probably don’t ovulate day 14; you ovulate late. and clomid will affect when you ovulate also.

when i was undergoing treatment, my ovulation days were cd19-21. and i think that is the case for a lot of women.

Yeah my cycles are long. I hope it grows, i wish i had more than one follicle to up the chances but Alhamdulilah its good enough too. Afterall, it takes only one I just hope i share some good news with you all on saturday Fingers crossed!

and did your ovary hurt when on clomid? I feel sudden mild throbbing pain in my right ovary since yesterday (its the one with the mature follicle). But strangely, it feels good lol!

hey sahar...do you mind sharing your story in the Successful Fertility Treatment thread?

one follicle is all you need. It can grow past 22. i ovulated at different times during differnet months. once it was on day 17, another month on day 12-13.

one follicle is all you need. It can grow past 22. i ovulated at different times during differnet months. once it was on day 17, another month on day 12-13.

Afshi if i ovulate this month and even end up in BFN, it will still be a milestone for me as i dont usually ovulate on my own. So its good to see that clomid is working, its giving me hope for future cycles!

I have the same pain in my right ovary too since yesterday, going through a similar treatment. So yea maybe that’s normal. I wish my doctor gave as much details as yours.

ovary pain means follicle is growing ....my doc thought it was impossible to get pg on cd 14 with an 18 mm follicle coz the size is too small.....lo and behold that SMALL follicle is now almost 5 yr old healthy n happy child .....keeping u in my thoughts n prayers

^ 18mm is usually good enough to trigger ovulation. that doctor is silly!

So i went for the cd 16 u/s and guess what, the 12.2 mm is now 21 Alhamdulilah and the lining is 8.4 :D th doc expect me to ovulate by tuesday, else i will give myself the ovidereal shot. I am so happy Alhamdulilah:) Thankyou all for prayers and now i need them even more!
