CCL 2011

Caught couple of matches today of CCL. (Celebrity Cricket League ) lol.. i didnt know it even existed.
This thread can probably go in shor sharaba and here both.

If anyone saw mumbai team it looks good. Sunil shetty looks too much in to the game.

I am surprised at the quality of game in our celebrities.
After IPL, it’s CCL!

The action shifts from crammed arc lights-lit studios to sprawling, sun-lit stadiums. After IPL, Celebrity Cricket League is here. Film fraternities from different States come together for a week-long spell of on-field action from today till June 12, in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Cine personalities from the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi film worlds will play each other in T20 matches. CCL will be kicked off in Bengaluru today, and the finale will be held in Hyderabad. There are four teams, six league matches and one explosive finale.
And guess what the names are! Chennai Rhinos, Telugu Warriors, Karnataka Bulldozers and Mumbai Heroes! Two matches are scheduled to be held in the city — Chennai Rhinos vs. Karnataka Bulldozers and Telugu Warriors Vs. Mumbai Heroes.
As a run-up to CCL, events were organised at different venues in the city. While a galaxy of stars attended a do to unveil the logo at Taj Coromandel, at Express Avenue, actor Sriya Saran kicked off the ticket and T-shirt sales for CCL.

i guess since cricketers are fast becoming heros for masses then movie stars decided to intrude in their territory as a counter attack.

Impossible to beat any team that has Rajni Kanth. So it will be a double foor Chennai - IPL and CCL
