Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

Sorry guys,i was busy!!I want to clear few things ..

1:u had the 50% payment which we deside i will not get untill u receive the dress and satisfied then u responed only a bit fitting problem otherwise u are satisfied and i will confirm one thing that dress was completly stitched with the measurement she send..2

:if there are holes in dress then why u did not manetioned me at the same time okay later on u also use it..meaning when u receive the dress u did not find or see holes at that time but after alteration when you said there are holes in it, meanning it happend during alteration holes comes after alteration

3:Now about the Pajama it is not cotton. It is Pakistani Raw silk and how it is possible that i send you cotton Pajama I am working in this field from last 2 years so I also know these points. You can also ask to my other clients I never send them cotton pajamas or did this type of mistakes

[EMAIL="Rabia@I"]Rabia@I want to remind u..u had said.. i just had a baby so i m still carrying extra fat and I made it with the same measurement ...really upset with ur discussionFinally ,i offer SHL new churidar panjama in indian rawsilk if she want!!

GS Mod :I offered her what ever i can do best but she dose not want to cooprate even don't send any pm and if she discuss to me and she is right i will be refund her 50% because she used my product..I just want remove her reviews or remove my ID because coopratiing to my client asmuch as seller should do

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

Well I don't think her review should be removed. It was her honest opinion, and you are also stating your honest reactions.

Just a question - do you do a Quality Control before you send out an outfit? Do you make sure that the stitching is straight and neat, there are not any loose threads anywhere, do you check for holes or possiblity of getting a hole or a rip?

Raw Silk and Cotton are two totally different types of material. I hope the reviewer knows the difference, and I hope you do too.

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

I did say that i had a baby and thats why i send you my current measurements...but the churidaar still didn't fit, and the fitting of the undershirt was perfect but the over-coat/maxi was big on me.

Why are you getting upset if i m just stating the facts.

I hope nothing gets removed from this thread...because i will lose my trust in GS and GS mods.

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

^agree

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

Catwalk,

I have never ordered from you and have absolutely nothing against you, but unfortunately this is not the first time there have been bad reviews about your work. I really hope for the sake of your own clientele you work on these issues about getting proper fitting, paying more attention to pippings and kaams not being crooked etc. When I see bad kaam by a certain designer it tells me they went to a cheap kaamwala/tailor to get it done in order to keep a higher profit for themselves. Ofcourse you are in the business for profit but if that's all you are doing then I am afraid it'll affect your clientele base.

I hope you take this as sincere advice and good luck with everything.

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

I've been following this thread, but have not commented yet as I felt it was none of my business, however I would still like to state my opinion. I also fell in love with that Aisha Khadija maxi that Rabia ordered. I placed an order for it with another home based designer who is not on GS or affiliated with GS in anyway. I asked for the dress to be made in midnight blue and that is it. I did not specify anything about the color of the kaam or anything else except that I wanted it more like a front open style to be worn with cigarette pants instead of a long dress like the original. My designer has been sending me pics of the work in progress, and the kaam is all in silver, not any gold in sight! The original picture does not look like gold kaam. I saw he pics of rabia's outfit on Catwalk's FB, before this thread/mess even started, and I'm sorry to say, but even at that time I thought it was a bad replica/copy. The work is not neat and looks quite cheap, sorry to say. It made me quite nervous about my own dress, but the photos I'm seeing of the progress have put me at ease. In fact, my designer told me that she was not satisfied with the kapra she initially used for my dress, after it came back from the karigar, and went for stitching, it was not holding up well. So she had all the kaam taken up and started the dress again on a whole different fabric! That is what you call quality control!! She knew it was going to be a few months before I wear the dress at my cousin's wedding and she wanted to make sure it stayed perfect until then. She could have stayed mum, and sent me the dress on inferior fabric and kept my hard earned money, but she acted with integrity and that is why I have no qualms paying her $300 for a formal dress! I also saw SLH's pics, and noticed the crooked neckline right away. Sorry, but that outfit too was not a good job.

I've seen some really nice work on your FB page, but like I told Mariam Mairaj on that other thread, home based designers are a dime a dozen. With so many vendors out there, I can't help but think all designers would want to work extra hard to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction.

excellent comments by Sajal and Khatti.

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

thank you for understanding where i’m coming from with all of this, and again thanks to the people showing me support through private messages. I’ll be more than happy to update yall if things change and something get resolved but I have a gut feeling that this is just going to be a loss and a bitter unsweet experience. oh well.

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

You both need to settle this on your own now. I already tried my best talking to both in private and I have given up on that now.

As for removing reviews, no mod can do that unless SLH tells us to. We ONLY delete/edit posts that have bad language, name-calling or profanity. And for removing ID, I am not sure if it can be done. You can contact TLK,Muzna or ehsan uncle for that.

This has gone far enough.
The thread is for review purposes and that has been accomplished.

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

Hmmm just had a confusing experience with Catwalk. We have been communicating for months and when it got to the final stage to pay, she said she is closed for Eid and did not reply when I said I didn't need the outfits for Eid, but seems she is continuing to advertise for new orders. Seems like she changed her mind about price or something etc. Waste of time for me. Anyway, disappointing experience for me.

Re: Catwalk Collections-Review thread

Just finished with my summer order from Misbah, and as the last one it was a good experience as always. This is my second order from her. Last summer I ordered a heavy suit from her for my friends wedding, this year it was a major order for my cousins wedding. I have the photos of me in the dresses and will gladly send to them anyone privately but unfortunately I left two of the suits behind at my parents home as I had to much luggage travelling back, so I have not been able to take proper photos of the outfits alone on their hangers. It was a hectic wedding so now I am forgetting which photos I actually had a chance to take so if I come across any that I can publicly post, I can send them to the mods to post them for me as I don't really know how to do it myself.

Just for some clarification from my experience with Misbah, I think she is a little misunderstood. I know communication with her can be difficult through email because from what I have understood from her, her english isn't perfect so her emails aren't always responsive in detail and can even be a little vague but know that if she has gotten back to you, she has probably understood your requests. I myself got onto a very bad start with her two years because at first I too didn't think she was very thorough in her emails back to me and wasn't sure if she was understanding what I needed in my clothes from her but we were able to hash it out and a few months of staying in touch and numerous numerous emails back and forth about pricing, specifics etc I placed an order. I trusted her because she offered to make the outfit for me before I even gave her a penny, and when it came, the outfit was simply gorgeous. Her replica's are phenomenal (no lie, I can show you my photos) and this year at my cousins wedding I put in an order for another 5 outfits, all very heavy and replicated and they turned out perfect. Again communication, is sometimes always a little weak with her but the results speak for themselves. Atleast in my experience. I am sorry to read about the one above :(.

I think when placing an order online you always have to keep a little open mind, as sometimes things can get lost in translation and will NOT always come out to the EXACT detail, especially if your placing an order for multiple outfits, and that happens, depending on the mistake, if the vendor is able to help you to fix the little misunderstandings then your working with a good person. Any complaints that I had, or little mix ups that happened on my suits, she has agreed to fix always and I am working on my next order with her for clothing for the month of Muharram and this will be my third.

If anyone would like to see photos of my outfits that I ordered from her, feel free to PM, I'd be happy to show you privately. :)

Thanks Misbah for all your help this summer!!

S&S

i would like to see her work as i was thinking of ordering.thanks in advance.
