the point of my post was that brother i have seen many muslims who were born muslims, and who live as muslims and die as muslims…

i just dont like the idea of “reverts r better muslims than born muslims”…
i think jeffery lang, in his book “even angels ask”, has made a good point of this…

Now I ask Y the born Muslims do not understand this. Everybody wants to go to US of A or western country to earn lot of money. I had been to US of A and stayed there for 3 months and London too but before I reveted . These western countries never cared for Muslims .The Asians are living second class citizen life there.
Man! I Pray to Allah SWT that he give Hidayat to everybody…Ameen

not everyone wants to go to usa and not everyone runs after money…
u must have probably see only the bad kind…
but if u look at it percentage wise u’ll probably find a higher percentage of “practising muslims” in born muslims than in reverts…

I do not know why even bother to compare?

Its for Allah to judge. Its not a guarentee that five times prayer will get anyone salvation if other deeds are blatantly against islamic values. On the other hand kindness and good deeds without prayer to Allah is like a nice frame without a picture.
I do see many many born muslims very punctual and revert as well.

Just to make a point.............

Many born muslims take Islam for granted and these are the people who did not actually try to start from beginning when they become adults as compared to reverts.

Also, reverts go thru a whole lot of change in their real lives. They have to adopt to new rules and constantly think of the minute details. They also have to change their attitude or face the change of attitude from their family/friends/neighbors etc. A born muslim just keeps enjoying whatever he/she has.

Well, again there is no real benefit to keep comparing and we must focus on how we can continue to find ways to attract more sincerely interested non-muslims.

I have seen many reverts here and man, when they become Muslims, they become Muslims…

I have to agree on that one too, based on personal experience and interaction with them.
