Putting it in context though, killing 18,250 Iraqi men, women and children is actually a slow year for the people waging this war of resistance given their historical track record.

Spot on. These terrorists have killed hundreds of innocent Iraqis in the past few months alone. But just like the hundreds of thousands that were murdered at the hands of Saddam, they are ignored. We don't have happy guppies keeping us posted with their deaths in bold numbers on a daily basis, do we? As long as 1.5 Americans are killed per day, the continuing suffering of the Iraqi people will be ignored. They were ignored when Amercians weren't being killed, so why should one expect that to change?
^ So long as these "resistance" terrorists can kill 1.5 Americans per day, they are given special permission to murder as many Iraqis as they want. It's not so much that their supporters ignore the murders of Iraqis, it's more so that they place a higher value on the life of a US soldier than they do Iraqis. Ironic: It's the very thing they claim Americans are guilty of.
Once the Americans leave and there are no more US soldiers to kill, the supporters of the resistance will go back to ignoring the murders of the Iraqi civilians like they did before.
So much glee when a US soldier is killed.
But Saddams legacy lives on. A culture that turned from one of the most educated and forward looking to a culture of thieves and thugs.
You can bet that in the privacy of thier houses the Iraqi's understand. Speak it out loud to al-jazeera, and your throat will be cut in the middle of the night.
my my my my so much love and concern for camel jockeys after killing 10,000+. But then 10,000 is the tip of the iceberge! scums killed millions in the 50s and 60s but then Korea and Vietnam was not on your christmas cards now was it… Take this BS somewhere else.
^ This kind of juvenile crap isn't hard to ignore, but the fact there are more than 6800 of these unproductive, offensive, off-topic posts is unbelievable.
^^ Truth hurts..... But then those 10,000 killed are indeed off topic.... Need I say more...
^^ Truth DOES hurt. The truth makes it kind of hard for you to be so openly proud of your heros when they slaughter and dismember 100 innocent Iraqis in 2 days doesn't it? That's why we get off topic ramblings about "camel jockeys" and "scums."
94 US dead in 2 months and 100 Iraqi men, women and children in 2 days. THAT says it all. Rejoice, rejoice, Abdali Stick your chest out and be proud. Leave it up to others to sweep up the bits and pieces of Iraqi flesh littering the scene of your heros latest triumph.

Yes, the foreign fighters of the US military have killed tens of thousands of Iraqi's in the last year - more than any group or leadership.
But thousands of American soldiers have also been injured in Iraq, and flown back (usually in the dead of night) to the states, and this fact hidden from the general public. Well not even the draft dodging Commander-in-chief Bush has managed to attend any of the funerals of the many hundreds of US soldiers killed in Iraq. What does that show?

Its amazing how these yanks shed crocodile tears when the same scums were chums with saddy... Killing 4 million in the east, killing 10s of thousand in Iraq simply don't show on the radar... Now that is low life scums...

US troops killed in Iraq attacks
Two US soldiers have been killed in separate roadside bomb attacks in Iraq.
The first blast happened in the centre of the capital Baghdad on Monday morning, killing a soldier from the 1st Armored Division and wounding another.
Within the hour, a soldier from the 4th Infantry Division died and four others were wounded in an attack in Baquba, about 55km (35 miles) north of Baghdad.
Meanwhile, Iraq’s US-appointed Governing Council has begun discussions about the country’s political future.
More than 500 US service personnel have died in Iraq since the invasion to remove Saddam Hussein began last March.
Most have died in attacks by insurgents since President George W Bush declared an end to active combat on 1 May.
In fact it was three US soldiers killed yesterday, and a further six injured…

That’s 100 US and “coalition” soldiers killed since Saddam was captured two months ago, and 644 killed since this illegal war was launched in March 2003. So much for the collapse of the Iraqi resistance huh?
