Have always known (thanks dad!) that we belong to a Gujarati Choudhury family and that our sub-caste is Takkur (Tikkrieh). Have married into a Mehr clan. Wanted to know if there were any differences between the two? What the origins of both are? Have lots of gaps in my knowledge and sadly both sides elders are not available or willing to help.
