Cast, culture, and language are important in marriage.
Here is my few observation on this issue.
They is not from our community – yeh hamari biradri ka nahi hia
Their cast is different – unki zaat alag hai
We don’t give girl to non Syeds – Ham gher syedon main beti nahi dety
What are your observation on cast, culture and language issues in marriages?
Is your family still following old school cast language debate in marriage proposal?
What is your take on this issue?

Lighten up. It was a joke.
And I really enjoy Bihari when they speak it in Pakistani TV plays.
Go read my reply in the bheegi billi thread.
Re: Cast, culture, and langauge in marriage
I still find the caste part happens a lot in India.
In my family caste is not an issue but preference for someone who speaks same language is still there. But just as a preference not necessity.

very common, marrying within castes and even voting in this fashion. This trend is weakening in the current generation though.

Pendu means speaking Punjabi?
Jo bhi ho jaye fairness is still important in marriages. All marriage ads ask for fair girl or boy. Seems like Sanwala salona aur sanwali saloni sirf songs mein hote hain
