And lets see if you can do some basic economics. Answer the following questions:

1. What is the expected population growth rate in Pakistan over the next 10 years?
2. What is the expected demand on our power generating infrastructure over the next 10 years?
3. How much of the expected demand is commercial?
4. To sustain a growth rate which is higher than our population growth rate, how much more infrastructure development will we need to undertake in the next 10 years.
5. What has been the growth of power demand in Pakistan over the past 10 years? Hint: It plays into forecasting future demand.

This is why I say you PTI supporters put PTI first and everybody else second.

According to CASA. CASA 1000 will start with 1000MW, and will **reduce **with every passing year, owing to increased demand in the producing countries themselves. Whereas Pakistan’s demands will go up as well. Even at its peak 1000MW, it will be about 5% of Pakistan’s total needs. So there wont be any economic feasibility for Pakistan to spend more than $1billion for a quantity of 1000MW that will reduce proportionally every year, when we are already sitting on excess capacity.
The ‘cheap’ electricity that we buy from CASA will turn out to be more than twice as expensive than what we already have sitting un-utilized.

That is why I say that you N-league supporters put personal business interests first, and country last.
