The thing is…well in countries that protect their freedom of speech, there are many rude “cartoons” such as this. They are rude to religions, to political leaders, etc etc etc. NO ONE is exempt from the brutality of the cartoonists. It really isnt meant I think, to be quite as insulting as its been taken to be. I truly can see both sides…You have to understand the western type of culture where almost anything goes and you’ll be able to be more understanding of this - NOT that you have to agree with it. The Muslims who are so very outraged really** cant see beyond THEIR culture and outlook.** Yes, I do see how extremely insulting to Muslims this whole thing is but I can also see that it truly wasnt meant as the extreme insult that it was taken to be…

So, the onus is on muslims to understand the western culture, when they were the ones who were made the object of insult? So the insultee has to be sensitive of the insulter’s culture, and not the other way around?
