although I don't see him saying that Adultery is not a crime.....let's accept that it is.....has the victim come forward to lay charges? Has the perpetrator been punished? If not then by all means ask/encourage the "victims" to follow the path laid out by the law of the land and let them seek justice.

smuggling is a crime also......and the victims (the people of the land) have been demanding justice for decades....bring those perpetrators to pay for their crimes as well.

let it be fair for all......

if you are willing to speak on behalf of the victims of adultery that was committed by IK then by the same token you should be standing strong for those that have lost their lives at the hands (i.e. direct or obviously indirect) of NS, Mushy, Zardari et al.

certainly those that have lost their lives are more worthy of support than those so-called victims that do not wish to lay charges......

as for the loot.....how can you admit to indiscretions on such a large scale and still continue to preach favour for those that have committed them?

you are welcome to support your side but please do not attempt to justify your position with matters that are so clearly unrelated.

Reminds me the famous dialogue of Amitabh Bachan, i do not recall the name of the movie, but when Shashi or Shami kapoor tells him that what he is doing is punshibale crime, Amitabh says, if this is crime, then first arrest the person who called me Son of Theif and then arrest the perosn who did that and then who did that.... also this is something said by almost all the PPP suppoerters, that it is not only we are corrupt or criminals, others are as well...

the point, which I want to say you are avoiding but I suspect now you are missing, is that Sita White and any other victims that may exist have a method to follow up on any injustices that may have been perpetrated upon them.
if they are satisfied with the results and have chosen not to pursue their claims further then why are anti-PTI undies in a twist about the matter?

I'm certain that we don't need bollywood dialogue to convey the simple message that crimes committed against an individual and crimes committed against a nation of poor people are two completely different things.....particularly when the nation's people are dying of hunger and disease.

truth is hannibal ji.....I keep away since my active participation in this section tends to be dismissed as an "infatuation with IK" (perhaps because I'm a woman and how could I possibly prefer him for any other reason than his looks, charisma and flirtatious undertones) and because there is little substance thanks to the litter that certain members scatter in every thread.

frankly looking back at your response I am quite sorry that I tore your first post apart...it was rather unnecessary....its seems a bit too apparent that you are well out of your depth (perhaps not in comparison to me.....for I am a lowly woman......but definitely in contrast to the other learned members that are posting).

I've been involved in the management of this place since its inception (more than 15 years) and nobody can name even one such case.
you have a lot of nerve to throw out an allegation like that.

Your allegation suggests foul play in my debating and that, my dear, simply does not happen with me.

I would expect that a capable and intelligent person would be able to remain at their own level no matter what low-life they are faced with. Perhaps that is not the case here. I can understand your desire to disengage and I won't encourage you to continue.

this much is quite obvious but the truth is that its not my respect you need to worry about.

I doubt that anything I say will warrant being "sensible" in your estimation. Sad though because knowledge and wisdom ceases to spread when people refuse to communicate.
