I believe the only other player who has done this is Saeed Anwar
at the (Same ?) ground and team,Saeed made 175 not out…,
Salman’s temperament seems much in control compare to Yasser,
I’m happy to see Salman taking a step shuffle towards the line of the ball when attempting his shots,this was his secret to a success,

Saeed never scored 175 runs in ODI. infact there’s just one instance of scoring 175 runs and that was from Kapil in 83 World Cup againt Zimbabwe. Check this.

"carrying a bat" wud mean that the player remained not out when all other players had ben dismissed....
or one can say that he played all the 50 overs (or the maximum allocated overs) of the innings....
if pak had been all out or if pakistan had batted first, i think it wud have been more appropriate to say that salman butt carried the bat....
however, since that wasnt the case, salman butt does not come under the category of carrying the bat....
there have been many 10 wicket wins (and also 9 wkts) so u can check the lists to see how many ppl have done the same....
in test crciket, nazar mohammad, mudasir nazar and saeed anwar (180* against india) have carried the bat....

if i am not mistaken..saeed had just 194 and then 139 (or was it 140) only...anyways, what butt has shown us is that he has the potential and he needs to be given chance to play for the team...now having said that, it also means that PCB needs to work on his skills...so in plain english, butt is providing us with talent, and PCB neef to brush him up or groom him up into a saeed-anwar class batsman...

his highest scores in one days are
194 and 140 both against india
and 188 not out carrying bat also against india.
all highest scores against india. poor them.

That 188* is Saeed Anwar's highest test score.
His second highest ODi score is 140 against India.
