So true!! I live in a carpet free house. We got rid of it completely…all bedrooms/living areas/hallways are hardwood floors now…kitchen/baths/laundry are tile…makes my life so much easier
I also like to keep my rental properties without carpet as much as possible…we usually use laminate wood floors in all living areas, again, tile in all “wet areas” and keep the carpet in bedrooms only. That way, when I have tenant turnover, and cleaning time comes, or I have to change it out altogether, it’s not a bank busting expense.
