i burn my new carpet with iron what to do ? did any 1 know how who can repair that in karachi …

how just bought it and its expensive too actually my father bought it and we cant replace that…thinking to replace that area with same colour of velvet fabric is its ok?

Do you have remnants left…??..I remember my mother once had an iron burn and she used a leftover piece of the same carpet to replace it.I am short of details,how it was actually done but since it was a patterned carpet,it worked ok and was not that obvious.

can i put same color velvet peice ? or should i color that area with same colors?

Not sure if velvet will work…can you go back to the place the carpet was purchased and ask them to either fix it or give you a small piece to fix it yourself…??..Does it have the padding underneath…??

What to do?
1- get an ironing table
2- get a piece of the same carpet, from wherever you got it, the installers should be able to replace a section without any noticeable change in look. Any carpet installer should be able to do it, they routinely do it for larger spaces and adjoining rooms etc. in fact most rooms that have carpets have atleast two separate carpet sections joined together
3- depending on location you can use an area rug if its in the middle of the room or some stand/table/decor thing to cover it, if its by a wall.
