Anyone experienced this? I am sure someone has as its fairly common but what is there to relieve the numbness?
Simple things like brushing my teeth or putting makeup on leave my hands numb.
Do you have any suggestions for something like this?

I went for blood testing a few times and doc said everything is normal…iron, etc. She hasn’t put me on a special diet or told me to change a thing.
But the numbness sometimes…God…its strange.

I have it too sometimes. I think it’s got to do with blood volume and circulation. One of those pregnancy things, unfortunately.

The fluid retention in the body makes all membranes swell..carpel tunnel is a result of it too
oh the joys.
wait till Round Ligament Pain strikes. man that one will make u want to chop your legs off.

I got that in month 3…my legs feel like they have a mind of their own!
round ligament pain (RLP) feels like ure thigh bone joint is.grinding.into ure.pelvis /hip. when u switch sides in bed in the 3rd tri… or when u go from sitting to standing position… or if u r sitting cross legged and.straghten ure legs out… basically all the frgging time!

Reha, when you sleep at night or when your carpel tunnel is bothering you more than usual, wear wrist braces on both hands, they ensure that your wrist/hand/forearm are held in a certain position that minimizes pressures on the carpal nerve.
Steff had such bad carpal tunnel syndrome in her third trimester, she was in the middle of operating on someone and her hands went numb, she had to break scrub and have someone else finish for her, that was the day she started her maternity leave.

^ I called my doc yesterday because its pretty bad now…I couldn’t open a water bottle during lunch.
She suggested the brace too…will be looking into it today.
I am sure major drugstores carry them?

Yes, CVS, Rite Aid, whatever, the wrist brace is a very basic piece of equipment, should be available at most drug stores.
